Cool Winchester Partner Organizations

Introduction

To reach 85% of Winchester's 8,000+ households, we will need to run 800+ EcoTeams. To do that, we will need dozens of partner organizations to multiply our efforts, each forming and leading dozens of EcoTeams within their memberships.

How many EcoTeams could your group form?

1. Count the number of households represented by your membership.
2. Divide that into EcoTeams of 8 households per team.
3. Multiply by the anticipated participation rate of 85%.

EcoTeam Coordinators needed
Each organization will need at least one EcoTeam Coordinator to carry out the following responsibilities:

• Get your organization to fill out an Org. Commitment Letter (PDF).
• Register your organization with Cool Winchester as a Cool Winchester Partner Organization.
• Establish a relationship with a Cool Winchester Liaison.
• Publicize the Cool Winchester project within your Organization to generate volunteers to be EcoTeam Leaders and Members.
• Direct would-be EcoTeam Leaders to the EcoTeam Leader support page, and ensure that they read the Low Carbon Diet workbook and the EcoTeam Process Training Slides (PDF).
• Direct would-be EcoTeam Members to the EcoTeam Members support page.
• Ensure that EcoTeams get scheduled and assigned Leaders and Members.
• Ensure that all EcoTeam Leaders in your organization submit their team's completed action plans to Cool Winchester.
